Your voice needs to express the full emotional range you are discovering in your actor training, but voice work can’t be rushed. That’s why we’ve put together a progressive training to help you put your most valuable asset to work and discover how much more your voice can express. Meisner trained actor Dewi Hughes, one of London’s top voice teachers, will give you the tools you need to let your voice expose the passion underneath, say goodbye to squeaking, gasping and croaking and become instantly more employable.
Where Meisner training offers actors ways to “flex the emotional muscle”, voice work works hand-in-hand by giving actors more freedom to communicate that new-found depth with their audience.
Dewi has been helping actors develop strong and connected voices for more than 10 years. He holds an MA in Voice Studies from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and has worked at LAMDA, Drama Centre London and Birmingham Theatre School. He has also taught in the corporate sector and been interviewed by the BBC about his work with accent training. He is currently the Head of Voice at Drama Studio London, and a director of the salon:collective, as well as a professional actor.
