Drop-in classes are open to all students who have successfully completed Stage 1 or further in our training and any actor wishing to build on work in any of the Shakespeare courses.
Dominic Kelly’s classes capture the same unique spirit and essence I received while studying at the Neighborhood Playhouse, the birthplace and home of the Meisner techniqueNeil AllenActor
You can use drop-ins for extra practice in aspects of the technique such as repetition and improvisations. We also encourage you to come to drop-ins to work on scene study, monologues, audition prep and other personal projects to continue your growth as actors once you’ve completed all the stages of the training. In addition, actors are encouraged to bring work from any of the Shakespeare courses to the drop-ins.
Drop-ins are a great opportunity to be part of the salon:collective, a thriving community of actors and artists looking to sharpen their skills and improve their commercial offer.
The sessions are £15. Classes run twice weekly:
Tuesday 10:00 – 13:00
Thursday 18:30 – 21:30
Places are limited to 12 each session.
It’s free to observe but please let us know you’ll be coming by registering below.
If you have a significant amount of Meisner training at another institution and wish to be considered for drop-in, we ask that you get in touch by email then book to observe a session and talk to the tutor after class, as approaches to the technique vary.
