Meisner-trained Lawrence is an expert as bridging the gap between emotional preparation and physical storytelling. In his words: “if the audience didn’t see it or hear it, it never happened”.
Classes run concurrently with the Meisner training focusing on a specific decipline for 6 weeks at a time, including: physical improv, relationship work through physicality, exploration of status and focus, power positions, character work, clowning, physical game play, mask work, Lecoq, Commedia dell’arte, Suzuki Movement Training and others.
