The next Advanced Scene Study will be lead by Dominic Kelly and run 6 February – 13 March (5 sessions) £195

We are now closed to applications, dates for the next Advanced Scene Study will be announced later in 2018

Enhance your Meisner Technique by intensively working on group scenes: sharpen your listening skills, improvise together to create deep resonant relationships, add depth to your character’s historical emotional landscape.

The sessions will also cover in depth work on tactics, physicality, personalising props, and sustaining a richly imagined world.

This course aims to further embed your Meisner training, encouraging graduates to return to refresh their skills, and take their understanding of their acting technique to a new level.

Sessions will be run like rehearsals, with all actors turning up to the first session off-book, analysed and ready to play. Participation on this course is by application. We will then cast based on suitability to the text we’ll be working on.

Dates and deadlines:

The course will run over 5 evenings, 18:00 – 22:00 at the Cockpit Theatre AND Theatre Delicatessen (near Moorgate tube). Contact sessions: 7, 14, 28 February, 7, 13 March (no class 21 Feb)

Wed 10 January: Pay a £25 holding deposit to apply (this will be refunded if you aren’t accepted on the course)

Wed 17 January: Successful applicants will be notified

Thurs 18 January: Payment deadline (the remainder of the course fee of £170)

Please note: Parts will be released once we have a full company of actors. There will be a showing of work in the final class.
